Beans Sprouting
Investigating a tulip
An unexpected and exciting science project!
A Goose egg was found on the playground and turned into the office. Being impulsive at times, I snagged it. At first we didn't think it was viable due to scratches, handling and being so cold. I then contacted a few folks who also said it was most likely not going to hatch for all the reasons stated above. So, we ( excited teachers) kept it quiet , waited & tried to learn as fast as we could about Canadian Geese eggs. We hoped and slowly gathered materials. Our efforts appear to have paid off as Goosey ( we have not named it yet for fear it may not make it ) seems to be growing. THEN Mr. Dinh let us borrow his incubator and gave us 12 quail eggs! He raises Quail! Who knew? He also said he loves to eat quail eggs. So yes Miss Tianna and I ate a quail egg Friday. So now an impromptu science project has begun!!! Let the learning begin!
